*Applicants that have 3-years full-time experience in a properly constituted police department/law enforcement agency and are currently certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standard Board may request a waiver from participating in the following elements of the examination process: Orientation and Physical Agility as provided in 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6. Such request for waiver must be submitted in writing with the appropriate supporting documents to the secretary of the Board prior to the examination element.
