Position Details

The City of Highland Park is now accepting applications for the position of Police Officer (Entry Level).

Recruitment Timeline:

• Written Examination: December 17–18, 2026
• Screening Interviews: January 6–9, 2027
• Polygraph: January 11–29, 2027
• Board Interviews: February 4–5, 2027 

Testing and interview dates are tentative.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and submit all required documentation, including proof of 60 or more college credit hours or proof of military time and a valid POWER Test Card issued June 1, 2025 or later.
