Community Service Liaison (Records Room Clerk)

• LARS coding and mailing of accident reports for the Illinois Department of Transportation
• Maintain Missing Persons records
• Preparation of arrest files to facilitate transfer of prisoners to court
• Maintain mug shots and court dispositions
• File case reports
• Active warrant entries and maintenance of warrant records
• Entry of accident reports, and entry and maintenance of Gang F. I. cards for officer safety
• Monitor security cameras to ensure the wellbeing of prisoner holding & processing areas, building alarms and the  perimeter of Public Safety Building 
• Order and assure pickup of prisoner meals three (3) times per day
• Change and maintain tapes of lockup area and the entire building every 24 hour period
• Act as front desk clerk, answering phones, handle all window traffic
• Pull files for court dockets and re-filing of same. 
• Process all aspects of tow and/or impounded vehicles
• Process bike registrations
• May be required to train new CSL team members
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of front facing customer service experience
• 3-5 years of administrative experience which included maintaining a filing system
• 1-2 years of cash handling experience.
• Must be able to type at least 30 wpm accurately
• Prior experience handling confidential and/or sensitive information
• The Village may accept a combination of training and experience which provide equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities
