  We offer a competitive starting salary of $87,088. Salary up to $99,000 will be considered for experienced Police Record Supervisors depending on years in position.

Position Details

The Village of Carol Stream has an exciting opportunity for a responsible, public oriented supervisor to join our Police Records team.

Responsibilities include:

• Training, supervision and scheduling of Police Records Clerks
• Ensuring strict compliance with law enforcement data requirements
• Overseeing all aspects of quality control within the Police Records environment
• Assuring the delivery of quality customer service
• This position also assists in all other areas of police records operations as needed. 

Ideal candidates will:

• Be problem-solvers with a strong foundation in Police Records
• Possess strong communication skills
• Thrive in a team-oriented, public service environment 

Additionally, qualified candidates must possess the following:

• High School Degree or equivalent supplemented by related college coursework and/or training in management.
• Minimum four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience within a Police Department.
• Experience with L.E.A.D.S., CJIS or similar police related information systems, with certification achieved within 6 months of hire.
• Availability and willingness to work any shift.
• Experience with responding to FOIA requests strongly preferred.
