Starting: $41.20/hour
Benefits:
First-line supervisor that oversees patrol officers, ensuring public safety and maintaining department standards. Works with Police Chief to carry out directives, enforcing department polices and standards, and ensuring that officers perform their duties professionally, ethically and in compliance with the law.
Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls for service and serious incidents, providing on-scene leadership and decision-making; interrogates and communicates with victims, witnesses and suspects in cases; identifies and collects evidence; completes detailed reports and required paperwork; performs follow-up investigations as required. Enforces local, state and municipal ordinances.
Typically 6:45 p.m. - 3:15 a.m. on a rotating schedule of five days on, two days off, followed by five days on, three days off. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
