Starting: $23.41 - $26.49/hour, based upon experience
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Safety and Security, the Safety Monitor provides active student, room, hallway, and door monitoring for district buildings to ensure staff maintain the ability to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, operate office and computer equipment, reach with hands and arms, and will frequently repeat actions with the same hand, arm, or finger motion, such as when entering data at a computer or scanning materials. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and push heavy carts.
