Police Officer (Part-Time)

Applicants must meet the following standards:

1. Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

2. Possess a valid State of Illinois driver’s license.

3. Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.

4. Possess no prior felony convictions or other crimes of moral turpitude.

5. Pass a psychological examination and a polygraph examination.

6. Pass a medical examination and drug screening test.

7. Be medically fit to perform the job functions of a police officer.

8. Pass a background check.

9. Must be currently certified as a police officer (full-time or part-time) in accordance with the Illinois Police Training Act (50 ILCS 705).
