Position Details

Qualifications: 

• Applicants must have attained their 21st birthday but not attained their 35th birthday by the date of appointment (unless otherwise, as provided in Section 10-1-7 of the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ICLS 5/10-1-7).
• Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
• Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Applicants must possess a valid P.O.W.E.R. card issued no more than twelve (12) months prior to March 21, 2026, from a duly licensed testing center, unless the applicant possesses a valid Certificate of Minimum Standards Basic Law Enforcement Training.
