Bolingbrook Police Department

The Bolingbrook Police Department will be accepting applications for the position of Police Officer until February 14, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

You must meet the following minimum requirements:

• $50.00 non-refundable application fee;
• High school diploma or GED and 60 semester hours of credit from an accredited institution at time of hire, some military exceptions apply;
• 21 years old by date of hire; maximum age of under 35 years at time of appointment (unless otherwise exempt by Illinois Statute);
• U.S. Citizenship;
• Valid Driver’s License;
• Applicants must submit proof of passing the POWER Test at the written exam date (March 14th, 2020) certifications after August 1st, 2019 are accepted.

Applications must be returned with copies of all required documents no later than February 14, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

Incomplete applications will be disqualified.

There is not an online application option.  However, if you cannot pick up an application in person, please send the $50 application fee (check or money order) payable to the Village of Bolingbrook via certified mail to the aforementioned address. There is also an additional $1.70 shipping fee as well.
