Position Details

The Village of Oswego Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for full-time Evidence Custodian.

The position is responsible for processing and maintenance of evidence and property in the Oswego Police Department.

The position manages the evidence chain of custody and oversees the evidence property room for the Oswego Police Department. Responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records and ensuring evidence processing is done according to standards and in a timely manner. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and five years experience in police or municipal government or equivalent is required.
• CALEA experience preferred.

• Medical examination and drug screen
• Thorough background screening
