Certified Part-Time Police Officer

Fox River Grove Police Department

The Fox River Grove Police Department is seeking certified law enforcement professionals to join our agency as part-time police officers.

Whether you're recently retired, currently full-time elsewhere, or seeking flexible supplemental hours, you can work when you’re available. There are no monthly shift minimums.

The Village of Fox River Grove (population 4,702) is located in McHenry and Lake County, approximately thirty miles northwest of Chicago.

Minimum Requirements: 

Applicants must meet all of the following:

• Certified as a full-time or part-time law enforcement officer within the past 12 months (Illinois or transferable certification)
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid FOID card
• No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving perjury, false statements, moral turpitude, or domestic violence
