• $68,121.92 - $93,748.30

  Officers reach top salary within seven years. Plus, additional longevity increases in years 12 and 20.

Minimum qualifications include:

• U.S. Citizen with a valid driver’s license
• A copy of the P.O.W.E.R. Test card completed within a year of the application deadline of April 11, 2025
• 21 years of age by April 19, 2025 and under the age of 35 at the time of final eligibility posting.  This age limitation does not apply to current or previously employed full time police officers or other exemptions as defined in Illinois Compiled Statutes 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of all phases of testing process
