The Glen Ellyn Board of Fire and Police Commissioners have authorized an entry level test for police officers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• No Felony Convictions
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver's License
• At least 20 years of age at time of examination;
• Must be 21 years of age at time of appointment
• Must be under 35 years of age at time of employment, unless otherwise exempt by Statute
• Must possess a current and valid POWER test card as of exam date (valid if issued 9/21/2024 through 3/21/2025)

ORIENTATION AND TESTING INFORMATION:

This test will be offered In-Home!

YOUR EXAM WILL BE OFFERED ELECTRONICALLY, AND YOU WILL TAKE THE EXAM IN YOUR OWN HOME. THERE WILL BE MULTIPLE SESSIONS OFFERED AND EACH WILL BE PROCTORED VIRTUALLY. TESTING WILL BE OFFERED DURING BUSINESS HOURS DURING THE WEEK OF APRIL 21, 2025 – IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOU HAVE THE FLEXIBILITY TO TEST DURING THESE TIMES.
