Position Details

Applicants:

Applicants must be certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board as sworn police officers, successfully completing the minimum standards basic law enforcement course required by that Board. 

Applicants will be subject to the minimum qualifications and requirements for candidates, up to and including:

• Oral exam(s)
• Background investigation
• Medical exam
• Psychological exam
• Polygraph exam
• Successful completion of probationary period
• Prior School Resource Officer experience desired
