PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER

The South Barrington Police Department is looking for exceptional candidates interested in joining the its ranks as part-time police officers.

Part-Time Police Officer Candidate Requirements:

Our Village ordinance requires that applicants be certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board under Section 8.1 of the Illinois Police Training Act (50 ILCS 705/8.1), and who are:

• Currently working as a full-time police officer for an Illinois law enforcement agency; or,
• Retired as a full-time officer from an Illinois law enforcement agency; or,
• Laid off as a full-time officer from an Illinois law enforcement agency.
