Minooka, Illinois

The Board of Police Commissioners of the Village of Minooka, Illinois is accepting applications for immediate openings for Full-Time Certified Police Officer Lateral Applicants with the Minooka Police Department.

All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements established by the Village Board of Police Commissioners:

U.S. citizenship
Currently employed for at least two (2) years as a full-time, sworn law enforcement
No felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for crimes of moral turpitude
Possess a valid driver's license with good driving record
Be a high school graduate or possess a G.E.D. equivalent
Applications are being accepted on an on-going, rolling basis. Mandatory on-line written examination will be scheduled approximately 30 days after application submission.
Must agree to comply with all requirements of the position and have the ability to pass all examinations and training requirements, including, but not limited to background investigation, psychological and medical.
