Police Officer Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid driver's license
• Must be 20 years of age and not yet reached your 35th birthday as of November 16, 2023 or as otherwise exempt from the age limitation by State Statute. Must be 21 years of age at the time of hire.
• No residency required
• No felony convictions
• U.S. Citizenship
• Successful completion of POWER test with a licensed agency within one (1) year PRIOR to written exam. POWER cards must be dated 12/16/2022 - 12/16/2023.

Orientation and Testing Information:

Candidates must attend the mandatory orientation and written examination on:

The test will be held in:

Plano High School

Plano, Illinois

Additional details will be provided to eligible candidates approximately one week before the schedule exam.

All portions of the testing process are mandatory. Failure to attend and successfully complete any portion of the process will result in elimination from employment consideration.
