Police Officer (Part-Time)

Part-time officers fill in for and supplement patrol vacancies and are expected to work flexible hours.

Must be highly ethical.

• Must be a certified police officer - No exceptions.
• Must have at least (5) years patrol experience in municipal policing.
• Must be willing to work weekends, Holidays and midnight shift.
• Specialized skills and/or foreign language are helpful.
• Must successfully pass the interview, medical, psychological and polygraph exams.

• May work various length shifts from three to twelve hours
• This position pays time and one-half for grant related work, and double time for Village holidays worked.
• Minimum (3) hours pay for court duties and special events details
• All Uniforms and firearm are provided
• Paid, in-service training will be provided
