  After 6 Years: $110,939

  For full-time Officers Certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB): Upon completion of the Field Training program, officers will be placed in the wage schedule based on their years of qualified previous experience, up to the maximum at 6 years.

  Top Pay: $110,939 per 2022 FOP Contract

  The salary range for City of Batavia Police Officers is $80,460 (starting salary) to $110,939.  Starting salary: $80,460 for probationary officers; after successful completion of FTO Program, officer will be placed in the wage schedule based on their years of qualified previous experience, up to the maximum at 6 years.  The salary listed reflects wage rates in accordance with the terms of the 2022 contract.

  Benefits:

  • Two weeks of vacation after one year; any new hire employee will be given a pro-rated amount (Based on date of hire until December 31st of that calendar year) upon 30 days of employment
