Interviews may be completed onsite then one trip, over approximately four days, would be required to complete the hiring process!
During our visit, we will be conducting oral board interviews for lateral officers that are interested - there is no written test required for the position. Dress clothes are not required.
Applicants that complete an oral board will be asked to complete the online application and provided a background packet to complete and submit to us at their earliest convenience for further processing.
If, after the interview and receipt of the background packet, we opt to move the candidate's application forward, we would complete the entire background investigation - this typically takes 3-4 weeks. We then work with the candidate to find at least 4 weekdays to travel to Arizona to complete the rest of the hiring process, which includes the POPAT physical test, polygraph, background interview, conditional job offer, medical, and psychological test. Once these results are finalized, a final job offer would be extended.
