Firefighter Minimum Requirements:

• $50 non- refundable application fee
• U.S. Citizenship
• No Felony Convictions
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• 21 to 35 years of age by date of hire unless otherwise exempt by statute
• CPAT and Ladder Climb verification by application deadline (valid if issued 5/21/2020- 5/21/2021)
• OSFM Illinois Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certificate, required by date of hire
• IDPH Paramedic License, required by date of hire
