Position Details

Village of Fox River Grove PD

The Village of Fox River Grove is looking for certified full-time and part-time police officers to fill an open full-time position in the Police Department.

To qualify you must:

• Be certified as a full-time or part-time law enforcement officer within 12 months of application, either in the State of Illinois or in a state that the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board will approve a transfer for certification.
• Certified part-time officers interested in the full-time position will be sent to Southwestern Illinois College for the 80-hour full-time certification course if hired.
• Be a United States citizen, at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license and Social Security card
• Possess a valid Illinois FOID card at time of appointment
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Must be able to successfully complete all phases of the hiring process
• Must submit a copy of your Illinois Standards & Training Board certificate and driver’s license with your application
• Must have no felony convictions
