The Bannockburn Police Department is hiring part-time officers.

Note: If you have previously applied you do not need to reapply.

Must commit to a minimum of 16 hours per month. 

Part-time positions may lead to full-time positions as they become available.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• No felony convictions 
• No misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma, with college credit hours preferred
• Must be an Illinois State Certified Full-Time or retired Officer
• Must have at least 4 years of municipal police experience, including patrol and traffic enforcement
• FOID Card
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and midnight shifts (not exclusively)
• Must be able to successfully pass a psychological screening, medical and drug test and extensive personal interview and background investigation
