Certified Part-Time Truck Enforcement Officer/Police Officer

Police Officer/Truck Enforcement Officer (Part-Time)
The City of Momence is seeking Illinois state certified police officers interested in serving as part-truck enforcement officers with the Momence Police Department.
Qualifications:
- State of Illinois Law Enforcement Certification from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board as a law enforcement officer.
- State of Illinois Certified Truck Enforcement Officer.
- Possess the knowledge, skills, abilities, and level of experience required pursuant to the call for qualified lateral transfer applicants.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, Illinois FOID card, and Social Security number at the time of hire
- U.S. Citizen, or will possess U.S. Citizenship
- Pass oral interview, in-depth background investigation and drug screening.
- No felony convictions
- Applicants must truthfully and accurately disclose all previous employers and any/all personnel files, sealed files, letters of separation/termination or any other similar documents related to employment.
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain a waiver from the ILETSB board as a police officer.
