• $68,121.92 - $91,910.82

  Officers reach top salary within seven years. Plus, additional longevity increases in years 12 and 20.

Minimum qualifications include:

• U.S. Citizen with a valid driver’s license
• 21 years of age by May 18, 2024 and under the age of 35 at the time of final eligibility posting.  This age limitation does not apply to current or previously employed full time police officers or other exemptions as defined in Illinois Compiled Statutes 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6.
• High school diploma or equivalent or college degree
• Successful completion of all phases of testing process

Followed by:

POWER test at 9:00 AM

The written examination will be administered to applicants who successfully completed the POWER test at:

1:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024

Oral Examinations for applicants who pass the written examination will be scheduled at a time to be determined.
