ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

MANDATORY TESTING INFORMATION:

April 24, 2024 - 9:00 AM - Physical Agility Test - Pass / Fail

OR

April 27, 2024 - 9:00 AM Physical Agility Test - Pass / Fail

Written Test immediately following - if applicant passes Physical Agility

Top 15 will be invited for an Oral Exam - date to be determined

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age – Applicants must be 21 years of age on date of test.
• Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Firearm Owners Identification Card (FOID) – Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid FOID card from the State of Illinois. This requirement does not apply to candidates maintaining their permanent residence out of state.
• No convictions for felony offenses or for crimes involving moral turpitude.
