Position Details

Lateral Entry Police Officer

Full-time

Only IL state certified officers need apply.

Out of State officers may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Minimum qualifications include:

• PTB certification
• U.S. Citizen with a valid driver's license and FOID
• 21 years of age and under the age of 35 at the time of final eligibility posting. This age limitation does not apply to current or previously employed full time police officers or other exemptions as defined in Illinois Compiled Statutes.
• Successful completion of all phases of testing process
