Position Details

The Village of Carol Stream seeks a responsible individual with a strong interest in law enforcement to provide administrative and operational support associated with the maintenance and management of department vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance, installation, and inventory of various department assets and resources
• Tracking of equipment related purchases
• Administering the disposition/disposal of the department's equipment surplus
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to multi-task, as well as the ability to collaborate with others to meet deadlines, is required. 

Qualified individuals must possess the following:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Possession of a valid Illinois driver's license
• Previous experience in procurement, tracking or other type of records management utilizing computerized systems
• Excellent Organizational and Communication skills

This is a regular full-time position Monday-Friday, however the successful candidate must be available to work other shifts when needed.
