Position Details

The Village of Twin Lakes Police Department is accepting applications to fill vacancies and create an eligibility list for both full-time and part-time Telecommunicator positions.

Communications Officers are responsible for:

• Operations of all communication systems and equipment including radio consoles and telephones
• Receiving calls and dispatching emergency calls for service
• Entering and updating information from different computer systems
• Assisting citizens who come into the police department

Qualifications:

• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
• Ability to perform essential functions of this position
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Clear and concise speech
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
• No domestic abuse convictions
• No felony convictions
• React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
• Minimum Age: 18
