Position Details

The Village of Spring Grove is currently accepting applications for the position of PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER.

Part-Time officers will mostly cover full-time officer days off, vacations, holidays, and any other schedule gaps.

Part-time positions may lead to full-time positions when available.

An abbreviated FTO program is offered based on prior experience.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Must be 21 years of age
• A valid driver's license
• High School Diploma
• Must be full or part-time certified through the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board
• Valid FOID Card
• Must be in good standing – No felony convictions
• Available to work all hours, weekends and holidays
• Must participate in and complete all stages of the hiring process, but not limited to: an oral interview, background investigation, physical examination and psychological examination.
