Minimum Requirements:

• $35 non-refundable application fee
• Valid POWER Test Card (Cards considered valid if issued one year prior to the written examination)
• POWER test may be taken at one of the following testing agencies:
• NIPSTA – Glenview, IL – www.nipsta.org
• Joliet Junior College – Joliet, IL - www.jjc.edu
• Triton College - www.triton.edu/power
• U.S. Citizenship
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• 21 to under 35 years of age on application deadline unless otherwise exempt by Statute
• No felony convictions

Orientation and Testing Information:

Candidates must attend the mandatory orientation and written examination on:

Saturday, August 6, 2022

Sign in will begin at 8:30 AM CST, please arrive no later than 9:00 AM CST with photo identification (valid driver’s license, State ID or Military ID) to sign-in.

An orientation will be provided immediately prior to the administration of the test.

Test will be held at:

Saint Pius X Parish Hall (Basement)

All portions of the testing process are mandatory. Failure to attend and successfully complete any portion of the process will result in elimination from employment consideration.
