Starting: $23.66 - $31.40/hour, DOQ
This position may include participation in a retirement plan through the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and ability to participate in the Flexible Spending Account Program for out of pocket medical, dependent care, and transportation expenses.
In addition, after one year of employment, this position may be eligible to receive paid time off.
The Village of Wilmette is seeking to fill the vacancy for a Part-time Community Service Officer I (CSO) whose primary responsibility will be parking enforcement with the Police Department.
The position will work under the supervision of the Patrol Commander. This position is scheduled to work 20 hours per week which will consist of two 10-hour days.
This position is an integral part of Public Safety and will be primarily responsible for enforcement of all Village parking ordinances. This position will also be responsible for traffic control at school crossings, accident scenes, fire scenes and special events to include any other related CSO tasks as assigned and listed in the Community Service Officer I job description. The successful candidate must adhere to the Village's COVID-19 safety measures as part of their employment as stipulated by CDC guidelines.
