The Village has established an alternative retirement savings option [401(a)] for candidates that opt-out of the Cary Police Pension Fund.
The Cary Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.
Solicitation is being conducted to fill full-time current Police Officer vacancies and to establish an Alternate Eligibility Register (Lateral Entry) for available positions.
This Eligibility Register will remain in effect for two years or until exhausted.

All portions of the alternate testing process are mandatory. Failure to attend and complete any portion of the process will result in elimination from employment consideration.
