The City of Park Ridge's Police Department is seeking enthusiastic and innovative applicants for the position of Community Strategies Coordinator.

This position is responsible for a proactive response to crime by working to engage the public, perform community relation functions and acts as a proactive force in the community.

Highlighted Functions:

• Respond to citizen and business concerns in regards to crime prevention and communication
• Coordinate programs and events such as the Beat Team Leaders, Citizen Police Academy, Law Enforcement Torch Run, National Night Out, among others;
• Conduct residential and commercial security evaluations, providing suggestions to improve structure security and personal safety;
• Maintain liaison with outside organizations and community partners;
• Answer questions from citizens on individual crime prevention concerns and address concerns of crime with the business community;
• Maintain Department social media, newsletter and other marketing strategies.
