Short Orientation, followed by written test:

Wednesday May 5, 2021 5:30 p.m.

Oral Interviews:

Will begin May 10

Requirements Include:

Be 21 at time of appointment (no upper age limit restrictions)
Must possess proof of successful completion of P.O.W.E.R. Test administered within 12 months prior to Oral Interview with the Merit Commission
Have a high school diploma or GED
Possess a valid Driver’s License
Be a citizen of the United States for at least one year
Must possess a valid FOID card
Pass background investigation, polygraph and psych test
Eyesight corrected to 20/20, be free of color blindness
Must pass an Oral Interview with the Merit Commission. Interviews will begin May 10, 2021
