Qualifications include: U.S. Citizen, high school graduate or equivalent, minimum age 18, must meet vision standard set by the City, no loss of hearing in the normal voice range, valid drivers license with no more than 6 points, no felony convictions unless pardoned, able to meet other Law Enforcement Standards Board requirements, including possession of either a two year Associate Degree or a minimum of 60 college level credits by the end of the applicant s fifth year of employment.

Salary range (4-2 schedule) $41,172 - $51,120.
