Salary: $68,000--$75,000, depending on qualifications
The City of Middleton (population 16,088) seeks an energetic individual to serve as Chief of Police under the general direction and policy guidance of the City Police Commission.
Qualifications: Strong leadership/communications skills and demonstrated abilities in strategic planning, budgeting, organizational development, supervision and police personnel management; Ten (10) years of law enforcement experience, including five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience; Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board certification or eligibility; and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Responsibilities: Supervise a department with 30 full-time sworn officers and 22 full- and part-time civilians, including seven (7) full-time paramedics in the Middleton EMS.
