Our team members act as liaisons to student programs and campus partners; use state-of-the art equipment; and provide public safety services for athletic events, speakers, concerts, and special events, in addition to general police duties.

 

Successful candidates must be able to be law enforcement certified by the Vermont Criminal Justice Training Council and complete a 9-month probationary period. Physical and written exams, psychological evaluation and background

investigation required. Valid Vermont driver’s license or ability to obtain, and driver’s check required. An associate’s degree or better is preferred but not required. Prior law enforcement experience, on or off a university campus, is also preferred but not required. Commitment to diversity and inclusion required.
