CAREER OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT

The City of Missouri City, a rapidly growing progressive city with a population of approximately 61,500, located southwest of Houston, is accepting applications for Police Officer openings. Minimum requirements include:

• Applicants must be TCLEOSE certified on or before the test date.

• Applicants must be able to perform the essential job functions of a police officer.

• Must be able to work in a team environment; dependability, reliability, good attendance required; perform additional job-related duties, within reason and capabilities, as directed; subject to twenty-four hour recall.

• Non-tobacco users preferred.

All qualified applicants will be required to take a written exam. Applicants passing the written exam will take the physical ability exam that same day.

Exams will be administered as follows:

Upon successful completion of both the written and physical ability exams,

applicants will be scheduled for an oral interview and considered for further processing, including a polygraph exam. Interviews will be conducted the week of June 27 through July 1, 2005.
