Police Recruit:

• A bachelors degree, OR 

• 30 college hours and one of the following:

1. 2 years current continuous employment with the City of Grapevine in good standing, OR

2. 2 years active duty military, OR

Police Officer: 

• 30 college hours and a Basic TCLEOSE Peace Officer's license

Applicants must be:

• At least 21 years of age

• No DWI/DUID convictions in last ten years

• No felony convictions

• No convictions, deferred adjudication, or probation for assault family violence or theft

Successful candidates are assigned to the Uniform Operations Division (Patrol).  All candidates must successfully complete a field training program and a probationary period.
