POLICE OFFICER

The City of Corsicana is a rapidly growing community with a population of 25,175, we are currently accepting applications for Police Officers who are certified and licensed in the state of Texas.  We are seeking individuals with integrity who are committed to public service, dedicated and professional, with a willingness and compassion to work together with citizens of Corsicana to maintain a healthy and safe community.

Written and Physical Fitness Testing:

September 17, 2005

Minimum Qualification:

• U.S. Citizen

• 21 years of age and have not reach your 45^th birthday

• TCLEOSE Certification with a HS Diploma  or

• Currently enrolled in an Academy recognized by the Law Enforcement standards

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

• No felony convictions or misdemeanor charges within the past five years

• Good moral character, stable employment record with no history of any conduct, which may affect suitability for law enforcement

• Pass each step of selection process, which includes: written test, physical fitness test, oral interview board and thorough background investigation

Hiring Salary:

Recruit 2 - $2,612 Monthly (incentive pay not included)
