The City of Knoxville Civil Service Department is currently accepting applications for Police Officer for the City of Knoxville.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• U.S. Citizen

• Possess High School Diploma or equivalent

• Honorable Discharge from the military if applicable

• Have or be able to possess a valid TN drivers license

Benefits include a liberal leave policy, 9 paid holidays, uniform allowance, health and life insurance, pension plan, tuition reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program. Starting salary $26,000 with raise to $27,900 upon completion of the training academy.
