The City of Lincoln Police Department is accepting

applications for Police Officer.

 

 

Officers' duties fall into four main categories:

 

Traffic, crime control, social control, and management which occur with
considerable regularity and overlap into several different areas.
 

 

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or G.E.D.

  • No conviction of a felony

  • Valid driver's license

  • Must be 21 years old

  • U.S. Citizen

 

All law enforcement applicants who meet minimum qualifications listed will be scheduled for a written test. Testing will be conducted March 29, April 9, April 26 and May 31, 2005.  (You may only test one time during this recruitment period).  All applicants testing will receive a study guide. 

 

Police Trainee - Hourly: $12.69 

 

Upon successful completion of Lincoln Police Department Police Academy,

 

Monthly: $3,085
