Salary Range: $2,371-$3,315 per month, plus excellent benefits

DEFINITION:
To perform law enforcement, investigations and crime prevention work; to control traffic flow and enforce State and local traffic regulations; to perform investigative work and other special assignments and to perform a variety of technical and administrative tasks in support of the Police Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
No experience is required. Requires completion of twelfth grade/GED. Also requires possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid, NE driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age or older and a U.S. citizen. Must submit with application copies of: birth certificate; high school diploma or GED; DD214-Member IV military discharge form if served in time of war or any expedition of U.S. Military Services. Bi-lingual skills helpful but not required. A written and physical agility (LEOPAT) exam is required. Drug screening required for certified candidates.
