County Police Telecommunicator. A Police Telecommunicator, or Emergency

911 Calltaker/Dispatcher, is a critical part of the law enforcement team and

is a stimulating and rewarding career. As an emergency calltaker and dispatcher, you will be responsible for answering emergency calls to police 911 lines, and dispatching police officers to respond to the calls, using the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. You will work in a comfortable, state-of-the-art telecommunications facility.

As a Police Telecommunicator I, you'll receive extensive training on our state-of-the-art computer system. When you are ready, you'll be part of our law enforcement community. You will receive continuing training and will be eligible for career advancement opportunities.
