City of West Chicago, Police Department Crime Analyst

$35,766 – $50,071
The City of West Chicago is a rapidly growing municipality located in the western suburbs of Chicago. Position will perform a variety of duties in support of the Deputy Chief. Including tactical, strategic and administrative crime analysis, reviewing case reports and internal documents with the ability to participate and present findings, conclusions and recommendations to senior management team. It may also include assisting in budget preparation, preparing comprehensive reports, performing transcriptions as needed for criminal testimonies, case interviews, and internal affairs investigations.
Minimum qualifications include a combination of experience and education equivalent to an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Science or a related field; plus ability to be LEADS certified. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
