The Waukegan Civil Service Commission has established the following minimum requirements to apply for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic:

• A United States Citizen

• 21 to 35 years of age, on or before the date of the written examination (August 18, 2007)

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Physically capable of performing the duties of Firefighter/Paramedic

Applications must be returned to the City Clerk's Office in person with an administrative processing fee of $20.00 at which time they will be signed and notorized. All applicants will also be required to present a valid drivers license. The last day to file the application is Friday, August 10 2007.
