POLICE OFFICER EXAMINATION

The City of Warrenville, a growing community located along the I-88 high-tech corridor, announces that a competitive examination will be conducted by the Warrenville Board of Fire and Police Commissioners commencing with a mandatory Orientation Session Friday, September 11th, 2009 7:00 PM at Wheaton Warrenville South HS.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen

Applicant must have a high school/GED diploma, Associates Degree or 60 semester hours college credit preferred

Applicant must be over 21 years of age to apply, but not older than 35, at time of appointment (20 years of age permitted with successful completion of 2 years law enforcement studies at accredited institution)

Vision: 20/100 binocular corrective to 20/20; must demonstrate appropriate peripheral vision; no color blindness

Successful completion of the following:

Orientation
Written Test
Physical Agility Test
Oral Interview
Background Investigation
Polygraph Test
Final Oral Interview
Post Offer of Employment Psychological Test
Post Offer of Employment Full Medical Examination
