Non-refundable application fee of $10 is required for each application.

Residency Requirement:

All full-time employees shall as a condition of employment and continued employment be required to move into the planning area of the Village of Tinley Park within one (1) year of employment date or completion of contract period.

Other Requirements:

• Must be 21 - 34 years of age

• Fulfill at least one of the following:

  1. BA or BS degree; OR

  2. AA or 60 hours college credit with "C" average with an emphasis on coursework in criminal justice, OR

  3. HS grad with 2 years experience as certified/sworn officer in State of Illinois, OR

  4. Existing reserve police officer with Tinley Park with minimum 4 years experience with the Village

• Must possess Valid Illinois Driver's License.
