Minimum age is
20 years old on the date of the written examination. (born on or before June
18, 1991)
Maximum age is
34 years old (unless previously employed as a Springfield Firefighter) on the
date of the written examination (born on after June 18, 1976); 20 years to 34
years of age at time of written examination (unless meets one of the
exemptions listed under 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1.6)

Valid driver’s
license and must be able to obtain an Illinois Drivers License

correctable to 20/20 with no color blindness
